THE HOUSE @ ST. JAMES PLACE . . .

is an establishment sponsored
by St. James United Church of Christ for our Sr. High youth and their
community friends to have a place to crash@ and hang@. The House @
St. James Place is open most Friday and Saturday evenings and is chaperoned
by trained volunteer chaperones. There are computers, musical instruments,
VCRs, TVs, board games, CD players and a free kitchen available to
the teens who attend. The teens are encouraged to bring their own
instruments, movies, computer games, CDs and friends. Funding for
this facility is through fund raisers sponsored by the St. James Youth
Board and the Sr. High Youth Group as well as generous donations from
within the congregationB there is no budget line in the St. James
UCC budget at present. This is a dream come true of a small group
of dedicated adults and teens and they make every effort to keep the
center clean, maintained, funded, and attended. Further information
